Signs 49 – Will 2021 Be a Major Impact Year?
The Signs data for January 2021 shows a new pattern with earthquakes of all magnitudes. However, the number of observed fireballs set yet another all-time record.
This is the 49th installment of the Signs series during which time we’ve tracked a steady, unstoppable uptick in the numbers and this year we wonder, will this be the one? The mother of all game-changers so to speak?
It could be and if so, what will that mean?
When you tell people about floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural threats, they can shut those concerns out if the peace of denial is what they seek.
However, impact events with rocks falling upon us from above connect with the deep, species-level engrams of horror we’ve inherited from our ancient ancestors.
What will it take to trigger this engram globally?
A major event with a catastrophic loss of life and habits, and it does not matter where in this age of instant communication. The problem is, how do you prepare for something you cannot see coming until it is too late? with that, let’s get into the numbers.
2020 Fireballs
Fireballs are reported worldwide, and the American Meteor Society which is the primary source for North America, for this dataset.
AMS Multistate / Country Fireballs
Multistate/country fireballs cross the borders of multiple states and countries. For this reason, this is a critical category in the dataset because of the distance these fireballs must travel to receive reports from across large geographic areas.
January 2021 was yet another all-time record-breaking month and this sub-set is one we feel is among the most disturbing because these are large objects with a more shallow angle of attack.
AMS Huge Event Fireballs
It is a commonplace occurrence for Multistate / Country Fireballs to be reported as huge events because a huge event occurs when 100 or more eyewitness observers report a huge fireball even
November 2017 remains the single highest recorded month for this dataset and while the January 2021 figure is low, keep in mind that the angle of attack with a huge event object is sharper than those multistate fireballs.
AMS Monthly Total Fireballs
The monthly total fireballs are the most critical category in this dataset. When we look at the monthly total of fireballs for January 2021 we see the new year starting out with a new record.
The highest month in this dataset is November and what concerns us is that January 2021 is not only the highest for this 5-year period, it is already the highest on record for the first two quarters of 2021 and this is just the first month in this year.
Yearly AMS Fireball Totals
Assuming we are passing through the outer dust rings of the Planet X system, are we’re moving into a thicker ring where there is a higher likelihood of a catastrophic impact event? This brings us to the annual totals.
This dataset goes from 1/2011 to 1/2021 and the first month of 2021 is approximately the same as the first four months of 2011 combined.
Earthquakes Since 1997
At the outset of our Signs series, J. P. Jones created a dataset spreadsheet that tracks the total number of earthquakes each month beginning with 1997. The updated table below now includes all of 2020.
Before we celebrate a slight dip in January 2021 for this sub-set, let’s put that in perspective. Even though there is a slight dip as compared with January 2020, January 2021 is still the highest January on record going back to 1997.
If we compare this month to January 2013, the first on record after the Mayan Calander date of December 21, 2012, we see a 6.18X increase over a period of just nine years. Not good!
Monthly Earthquakes 1/2017 to 12/2020
When we look at annual global earthquakes for the dataset for January 2017 to January 2021, this last month is not only the highest on record for January, it also is higher than February 2020.
What we find interesting is the overall pattern of fireballs vs. earthquakes. With fireballs, the second half of the year has the highest activity levels overall. However, with earthquakes, we see the highest levels occurring mid-year. This means, that fireballs and earthquakes do not share the same cycles.
We will focus more on this divergence over the coming year, to get a better idea of what is driving these divergent cycles.
Summary
In a macabre twist, we keep seeing increases in the number of fireballs being reported and so we wonder, what threshold must we cross before people begin to die in large numbers? It’s a fair question but not the most appropriate for those in awareness.
For those in awareness, the question is, what threshold must be violated before those in awareness begin preparing for survival. Not only for themselves but for many others.
This is why I published, Win-Win Survival Handbook: All-Hazards Safety and Future Space Colonization.
This new edition was released on January 4 and contains 123 new illustrations, plus the addition of newly designed impact baskets to enhance impact event survivability.
It represents 7 years of intense research, authoring, and publishing and it walks you through the complete process of initiating a new community through to groundbreaking.
For those of you who are long on awareness and short on cash, relax. The book explains an innovative way to finance a community. More importantly, after we see a major impact event with destruction and death, the “normies” will be slammed with awareness and searching for a plan. This is when someone will stand up and say something like, “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I do know I need to be the boss.”
After everyone becomes exhausted with this nonsense, this is when you quietly raise your hand and say, “I have a plan.” Then, say no more until all eyes are on you. Then, you hold up your copy of Win-Win Survival Handbook: All-Hazards Safety and Future Space Colonization, so they can see all your post-it notes and bookmakers.
At that moment the floor will be yours so please do not blow the opportunity by saying “I told you so.”
Rather, this is when you say, “We’re good people with good families, and with this simple, straightforward survival plan, we can all survive together.”
