Sometimes, I get the feeling that we're not getting the 'whole picture'. If we are gonna be visited, maybe by them that had us digging gold for them, there might be a disagreement or two. Especially when they try to hand me a shovel.    ed

I'd take that shovel, then apply it to the nearest non-human......

Re. "I'd take that shovel ..." :

Not all (hopefully few) sentient species are as belligerent as Earth Humans.

Here is an interesting snippet of a message from the Federation at http://www.galacticchannelings.com/english/wanderer28-05-11.html (http://www.galacticchannelings.com/english/wanderer28-05-11.html) :

" You have been genetically engineered from long ago towards a tendency to xenophobia. It is part of your biological makeup and something we have taken into account in the Disclosure process. While we encourage your willingness to see us for who we really are, we recognize that you will have a biological urge to “recoil,” as it were, towards certain of our species. Do not look down upon each other for this reaction. Rather, see it for what it is. Know that when we come, we will act with the utmost in diplomacy for your feelings and preconceptions. "

That is...until they get hit with the shovel. Are they trying to say they look kinda ugly or something?   ed

"Are they trying to say they look kinda ugly or something? "

Some are, yes, according to at least three accounts that I have read, plus some photos that I received.  Nancy Leider (Zetatalk) reported that she fainted on first sight of one individual.

From http://zetatalk.com/index/pfeb1503.htm (http://zetatalk.com/index/pfeb1503.htm) :
" As Nancy reports in her Lifeform Orientation writeup, she herself was hardly comfortable with the types of lifeforms she was presented with.
(NancyL) ZT: She reports that BeanBag Man (her term) caused her to faint for the first time in her life.
(NancyL) ZT: She reports that recalling the BugMan, standing like a giant cockroach in front of her complete with waveing antenna, was difficult for her to bring forward to her consciousness.
(NancyL) ZT: Bear in mind that Nancy is hardly a coward, nor the fainting type, and steps up to the plate no matter WHAT. "

Here are four mild examples from http://etsculptor.com/index.html (http://etsculptor.com/index.html) .

It is difficult to foresee having a meaningful discussion with a grasshopper. Sorry, but it is.  I wonder also, what they would think we look like.  Probably look like lunch. Watched the movie "Skyline" last nite. It's a real peach.     ed

But Ed, didn't Master Kan teach us anything in the "Kung Fu" TV series when he repeatedly said "...patience young grasshopper..."?  ;D

"It is difficult to foresee having a meaningful discussion with a grasshopper."

The ETs that come here must be much more advanced than we are, at least technologically and also spiritually in some (most?) cases, so surely it is they that would have difficulty finding something to communicate that our primitive minds could comprehend.

I don't have the reference at hand at the moment, but reports from an ex-military person who did meet with a few ETs indicated no difficulty in communicating with them.  (I think that it was a Coast-to-Coast session.  I'll try to find it.)

And I do like to insert a little comedy, once in awhile, to break the tension. If I communicated with my first wife's family, aliens will be a piece of cake.   ed

We can try to talk but I always wanted to try deep fried chocolate covered Grass hopper.
who says us humans have to have the best intentions when it comes to dealing with the aliens especially with all the food shortages we are supposed to have.

I have tried them without chocolate. In the jungle, we sorta ran out of food for awhile.  Tried rice bugs also. Amazing what you'll eat, when hungry. I like cheeseburgers better. I doubt if any aliens will appear like cheeseburgers tho.     ed

If they show up as cheeseburgers, they will never leave my city alive,as long as there is some lettuce and tomato

I watched the trailer.  I'm sure it would have been more interesting if it didn't stop every second (I counted) and re-start.  I have no idea why we needed to watch it other than it's supposed to be more "evidence" about X.  Regarding the ETs, I don't care what they look like, they're demonic and I'll have nothing to do with them.

That is akin to "others" saying all humans are demonic !!!!

All this conditioning, it's a shame I preaching to the converted!!

Well when I say converted I mean the sceptically converted, nothing is absolute. Isn't that right Terral?
