That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes,
an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn,
world serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs.
Feed it off an aux speak,, grunt, no, strength,
The ladder starts to clatter with fear fight down height.
Wire in a fire, representing seven games, a government for hire and a combat site.
Left of west and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck.
Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.
Look at that low playing!
Fine, then.
Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do.
Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and the revered and the right - right.
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers.
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn.
Locking in, uniforming, book burning, blood letting.
Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate.
Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down.
Watch your heel crush, crushed. Uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier.
Renegade steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies.
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.
(I feel fine)

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev. Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom!
You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

Something about the lyrics chill me.  One of the lines is Watch out for foreign towers.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers.
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn.

Is this a prediction about the twin towers?

The song was recorded long before 9/11.

Another one is One Tin Soldier. Don't remember who performed it,,, not really a disaster song, but kinda dealt with greed, death and peace. I first heard it in the movie Billy Jack,,, years ago.
I'm about to go into  work now,, will find it after work unless someone else finds it first.

"Riders On The Storm"
Lyrics
Riders On The Storm lyrics
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm

There's a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin' like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah

Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah

Wow!

Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm

Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm

prefers to be called "a song and dance man". He plays guitars (mostly personalized), and sings, usually about
his early life living rough and doing casual work.

Synchronicity I

With one breath, with one flow
You will know
Synchronicity

A sleep trance, a dream dance
A shaped romance
Synchronicity

A connecting principle
Linked to the invisible
Almost imperceptible
Something inexpressible
Science insusceptible
Logic so inflexible
Causally connectable
Yet nothing is invincible

If we share this nightmare
Then we can dream
Spiritus mundi

If you act as you think
The missing link
Synchronicity

We know you, they know me
Extrasensory
Synchronicity

A star fall, a phone call
It joins all
Synchronicity

It's so deep, it's so wide
You're inside
Synchronicity

Effect without cause
Sub-atomic laws, scientific pause
Synchronicity

The Lost City of Atlantis
BetterWorld4YouAndMe
The largest of these islands was as big as the whole of Asia Minor.
When Poseidon inspected his new domain he found the islands to be more beautiful than anywhere else in the world. Every leaf on every tree glistened as brilliantly as an emerald, and the rolling pasturelands were as sleek and green as the waves of a summer sea. The flowers were so richly scented that they made the warm air as intoxicating as wine. Great herds of tame cattle grazed the pastures, the water in the streams was as clear as crystal and as fragrant as clover, while the hillsides shone with veins of white, black, and red marble and with deposits of every kind of precious metal.

The great god discovered that the people of the islands were singularly handsome and intelligent, but so newly created that they had no leaders or social organisation. They had not even given a name to their island home.
As Poseidon explored the land he came to a hill rising from the very center of the largest island, and he climbed through its flowering forests until, close to summit, he found the abode of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She told him her name was Cleito. The dazzling glance of her sea-blue eyes, and the sumptuous beauty of her face and form, aroused such lust in the potent deity that he conquered her without delay. She responded ardently to his power and splendour and in due course bore him ten fine sons. They named the firstborn Atlas, and Poseidon named the islands and the surrounding ocean in honour of his son. They became Atlantis while the oceanis the Atlantic.

Poseidon is the most violent and most jealous of the gods, distrustful of all mortals including Cleito, and so he isolated her upon her hill by digging three great moats around it. Each was about a kilometre wide, and separated from the others by a circle of land of the same width. Thus the Hill of Cleito was surrounded by great concentric circles of land and water. When Poseidon's ten sons grew to maturity he made them all into kings, each with responsibility for one-tenth of Atlantis.

Sacred Sound Alchemy for DNA Repair and Healing christrance

Forgotten In Time: The Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies
There is no taste, no sound, no light and no color
Our taste and sound receptors are impulse converters; There is no light and no color outside of our brain.
Colors and light are formed in our brains by conversion.
Light energy vibrations of different frequency(i.e., of different wavelengths) are converted by a transducer(the eye) into signals(impulses) that can be received and processed by neurons in the brain of as colors.
Love signal is a healing audio and visual meditation with music, sacred geometry and Solfeggio frequency 528 Hz, the miraculous frequency for transformation and DNA repair. There is a special sound and color of love according to Dr. Horowitz, a Harvard-trained award-winning investigator. Broadcasting the right frequency can help open your heart, prompt peace, and hasten healing. "We now know the love signal, 528 Hertz, is among the six core creative frequencies of the universe because math doesn't lie, the geometry of physical reality universally reflects this music; these findings have been independently derived, peer reviewed, and empirically validated," Dr. Horowitz says. Music & video by Jandy the Decibel Jezebel Poem by Katie Pye The Solfeggio Scale and note names; 1. UT...396 Hz (Center Pillar of the Tree)
The third note, frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the scale and derives from the phrase "MI-ra gestorum" in Latin meaning "miracle." Stunningly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA - the genetic blueprint upon which life is based! MI - 528 Hz - relates to crown chakra. Dr Mirahorian suggests an association with DNA integrity,transformation and Miracles . MI - 528 Hz - relates to crown chakra;
The regular "C" that we all know of in this culture (which is from the diatonic scale of do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do) is not the 528 Hz frequency "C. A regular "C" vibrates at a frequency of 512 Hz. The "C" of 528 Hz used for DNA repair is part of an ancient scale called the Solfeggio Scale. see more on:

Every time I hear this song, I feel so inspired. Enya truly has a beautiful voice, and I really wanted to share with you the lovely imagery and music with you. I hope you enjoy.

Lyrics
Angels, answer me,
are you near if rain should fall?
Am I to believe
you will rise to calm the storm?
For so great a treasure words will never do.
Surely, if this is,
promises are mine to give you.
mine to give...

Here, all too soon the day!
Wish the moon to fall and alter tomorrow.
I should know
heaven has her way
- each one given memories to own.

Angeles, all could be
should you move both earth and sea
Angeles, I could feel
all those dark clouds disappearing...

Even, as I breathe
comes an angel to their keep.
Surely, if this is
promises are mine to give you.
mine to give...

Ishtar Gate by Robert Sepehr (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA_sLpliMsk#)

The Ishtar Gate is one of the most dramatic finds from ancient Babylonia. Covered with dragons and bulls, Nebuchadnezzar dedicated the huge, ceremonial gate to the goddess Ishtar. It was the main entrance to the inner streets and temples of Babylon. King Nebuchadnezzar II was known for awesome building projects such as the restored temple of Marduk and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which was considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world

 :)OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
This is my favorite place to go in Berlin.  This Ishtar's Gate is on Museum Island in E. Berlin.  To see it in person, is even more dramatic than in a video.  The colors are so vivid.
Once a year, at least, I go to this museum, and wander around.  The gate, even out of its context, is mind-boggling.  I wish I knew what its meaning is all about.
Thank you, Paul, for the video, and the lovely Enya music.  NICE.

This song & its title was answer to one of last week's Final Jeopardy  -- only one person got it right.  Question was (paraphrased) "What 1980's song do history teachers praise for its educational value."  Never could understand all the references on Billy Joel's song -- fortunately, with this VIDEO, given the picture(s), now can "see" what our "ears" couldn't.

Anyway, checked to see purpose behind the song.  Apparently, it's Joel's homage to the 40-years of historical headlines since his birth (1949).  Wish we could have appreciated the depths of this song when it was released.  Twenty years later, it's amazing what Joel was able to put into music and lyrics lasting only a few minutes.

Whether you are a Billy Joel fan or not, you probably remember his great song, 'We Didn't Start the Fire..'

Here it is, set to pictures... . It's a neat flashback through the past half century. I never did know all the words. Turn up volume, sit back and enjoy a review of 50 years of history in  less than 3 minutes!

Devin Townsend (no relation that I know of, hehe.) Canadian - born musician.
Here are some of the words to his song, "Numbered." - Yowbarb

...
Ah, we are numbered,
We are numb, We are not alone.
Ah, we are numbered.
We are numb, We are numb...
All the world's been waiting for a photograph.
All the time we've waited for a sign.
It'll soon be over, All I want is honesty.
It'll soon be over, All we've got is time.
AH, WE ARE NUMBERED, WE ARE NUMB, WE ARE NOT ALONE!
AH, WE ARE NUMBERED, WE ARE NUMB, WE ARE NUMB.
Oh we search for home.
Only God knows God.
I'm alright to fly!
Only we both know we never once were right...
But we tried.
TIMMY
AH, WE ARE NUMBERED, WE ARE NUMB, WE ARE NOT ALONE!

Amy I am not always able to post images or what I exactly want to do, butI have had pretty good luck with you tube videos. Down below the video name itself on the right, is a little button that says "share." You click that on and it gives you a link which you copy and paste onto your post page. Usually you will have the video there. Instead of using the embed code (which you would use on myspace) you just select the share one and use that short link and copy past it.
Don't Fear The Reaper is an excellent choice.

About ten years ago scientists studied the effects of music.
Elvis hymns were the most pain -relieving ones, Mozart's music was the most healing. The sound on this recording is a bit sharp - I have heard a lot of recordings... this sounds better with the volume down a bit. - Yowbarb

On a lighter note - some good old Yankee ingenuity.
My son just showed me this viral video of a New York City band who just had all their expensive equipment and gear stolen. Guess what they did?!! They improvised. See this video definitely worth watching. The silent dialogue notes at the beginning explain what happened.

Here's a song I made together with the great Kansas-"fingerpickerdude"- Vince Serrioz, a very fine fingerpicker-guitarist and a great friend of mine. The "Stampede" song was inspired by a dream, a dream that an old native-american had (Vince correct me if I'm wrong) and painted on a leather-shield that Vince bought from him once in a time, that same actual painted shield that inspired us for the song appears in the movie! It's been a great project and our very first one, it was truelly a first experience to work that way since Vince lives in Kansas and I'm in Sweden! .......Thanks for listening! Michel D :)

This is a tribute to the singer, Mano Solo, his music, and the art of Flamenco dance.

Some of his songs include "Allo Paris," "Aliez Viens" "Julie" "La Lune" and "Trop de Silence" His latest cd is entitled "In the Garden" and he is currently working on another release for later this year.*

Just saw this tonight.
The young man on the drums is my son, Wes He is in the black t shirt wit orange onfront...
It was at a local party last summer. Someone filmed them just cutting loose, blowing off steam with some friends...
Wes plays drums guitar keyboard writes music and sings and writes songs... I hope there will be enough generators in the world to keep some music going we sure need it.... this is all strictly improvisational off the middle of the night.  I suppose they glugged down a few gallons of beer too.  - Yowbarb

Philmont Lyrics
"Philmont The Ascension lyrics"

Of course I would rather not try to explain
Where all this is going
I never thought we'd take it so lightly
The high and the mighty
Will all fall the same
Of course I would stick to my story
An obvious warning to heed to the signs
Then everything, it crumbles around me
The last call is sounding
I'm boarding the train

And time, it won't stand still
Dreams will slowly hide
Beneath the dust that settles on your life
Your life

The truth is we'd rather not listen
Aborting the mission, abandoning hope
It's sabotage, we scramble the signals
Give up our positions
Surrender to fear
Running blind, escaping the future
The winners and losers are called out tonight
You can't run, can't hide in the back seat
The sky is collapsing
The future is here

And time, it won't stand still
Dreams will slowly hide
Beneath the dust that settles on your life

Sit with me, we'll watch the stars collide
The flaming embers wrapped in smoke
Will shower you and I
And as we burn, our bodies leave their posts
We'll ascend the charred remains
And depart from all we know
You and I will survive

In light of the strange object found behind the sun here is a good song.  The original video is seriously weird. :o

I think I remember hearing that song and getting a quick look at the video back before I had heard of PX...
The song and parts of the video are really tuned into something it is pretty amazing. If the video were different it would have been different... A few parts would definitely knock outta there,  8)
Fact remains they were tuning into something...

1994

That is interesting - 1994! It seems someone had been doing some researching... possibly had read about PX in 1983 or it got around in the culture by word of mouth... Or possibly they feel something is coming and don't really know what.. but it comes out in the music. In spite of the repulsiveness of parts of the video I feel they are pretty amazing guys... some sort of disenchanted Indigos possibly...? I notice they balance the trauma and disgustingness with some ridiculous humor... Whatever they are trying to say they have made their mark...

The Beatles - Lady Madonna

zeppelinfloyd196

"Written mostly by Paul McCartney and is credited to Lennon/McCartney. In March 1968 it was released as a single, backed by "the Inner Light".

The song was recorded at Abbey Road Studios during sessions on 3 February and 6 February 1968, before the Beatles left for India. This single was the last release by the band on Parlophone in the UK and Capitol Records in the U.S.. All subsequent releases, starting with "Hey Jude" in August 1968, were released on their own label Apple."

The song, and in particular, the intro, is similar to Humphrey Lyttelton's "Bad Penny Blues" from 1956. John Lennon helped write the lyrics. The line "see how they run" was included after his suggestion (and was a theme that had been used in the previous year's "I Am the Walrus".

Um Segundo Sol....sempre chega!

THE SECOND SUN
Cassia Eller

When the second sun arrives
To realign the planets' orbits
Tumbling in special awe
What the astronomers would say
It is a case of another comet

When the second sun arrives
To realign the planets' orbits
Tumbling in special awe
What the astronomers would say
It is a case of another comet

I cannot say I was not surprised
Before I saw you said it
And I could not believe
But you can be sure

That your phone will ring
In your NEW HOME (!!)
That now houses the trail
Included in my conversion

I just wanted to tell you
I went outside
And I saw two suns in one day
And the life that burned without explanation

When the second sun arrives
To realign the planets' orbits
Tumbling in special awe
What the astronomers would say
It is a case of another comet

I cannot say I was not surprised
Before I saw you said it
And I could not believe
But you can be sure

That your phone will ring
In your NEW HOME (!!)
That now houses the trail
Included in my conversion

I just wanted to tell you
I went outside
And I saw two suns in one day
And the life that burned without explanation

Your phone will ring
In your new home
That now houses the trail
Included in my conversion

I just wanted to tell you
I went outside
And I saw two suns in one day
And the life that burned without explanation

no Explanation, no explanation
no Explanation, no
it has no explanation
no Explanation, no
it has no explanation
no Explanation, no
no Explanation, no
It has no explanation....

My best,

Carlos

This is just too cute.  Its not fully Planet X music but fun never the less.  This is an excerpt of the film "Deliverance."   When the film crew of the movie stopped at a gas station somewhere, one of the actors started to play a tune from the film on his guitar.  Not that it matters tremendously, but the information accompanying this explained that the guy playing the guitar was Ronnie Cox from Portales, New Mexico. When a boy who was watching (an autistic) heard the music, he started to respond with notes from his banjo.  They started an incredible dialogue of instruments and the autistic boy expressed himself in probably the only form in which he was prepared to communicate. This is how this remarkable scene, that was included in the movie, was developed and filmed.  Look at the expression of the boy.  At first, he seems uncertain and waiting, but as the intensity of the music progressed, his lost expression was gone, and an expression of pleasure and happiness was recovered .... thanks to this guitar player who happened to pass by.After this magic moment passed, the boy returned into himself leaving this part of his externalized beauty in the film.  This truly was a memorable part of the movie. This is a good story.  I never knew it was true, as this scene was not a part of the script until the camera man just happened to catch it on film.  The family was well paid; and beat poverty by accident.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Whitacre

Eric Whitacre (born January 2, 1970 in Reno, Nevada) is an American composer, conductor and lecturer. He is one of the most popular and performed composers of his generation.[1][2] In 2008, the all-Whitacre choral CD Cloudburst (released by the British ensemble Polyphony on Hyperion Records) became an international best-seller, topping the classical charts and earning a Grammy nomination. Robert Hollingworth commented: "what hits you straight between the eyes is the honesty, optimism and sheer belief that passes any pretension. This is music that can actually make you smile."[3] Whitacre's Virtual Choir projects on YouTube exposed his music to a new audience.[4][5] Whitacre signed a long-term recording deal with Decca in 2010 and continues to develop his award winning musical Paradise Lost. A condensed concert version was given at Carnegie Hall in 2010.[6] Plans for the stage show and soundtrack extend into 2011.

Not so much to sing about today after these storms... but it is good to see people so jubilant, some can sing some not but ya gotta love them all.

Sorry for the long post (just catchin' up) hadn't seen this topic before. I for one NEED music. Here's a few of my Planet X flyby music .

What about "Don't Worry be Happy" - Bobby McFerrin.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHFDa9efCQU

or "If" by Bread
"......Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way.
If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die,
I'd spend the end with you.
And when the world was through,
Then one by one the stars would all go out,
Then you and I would simply fly away"    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a_4fBH_7dk

or Eva Cassidy's version of  Robert Burns "My love is like a Red, Red Rose" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN_ALKdh7ok
"......Till all the seas go dry, my Dear,
And the rocks melt with the sun!
O I will love you still, my Dear,
While the sands of life shall run."

"Sun is Shining" by Robert Nesta Marley.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBDVarvFqYI

and "One Love/People Get Ready" by the asaid Bob Marley :-* :-* :-*.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdB-8eLEW8g
or Eva Cassidy's version of "People get Ready" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8W9rPxxnP4 (in my opinion best female voice ever, if angel's could sing....)

"No Surrender" and "Dancing in the Dark" (may need a 'No Surrender' type attitude and if there's 3 days of darkness then we will be living in the dark but hopefully Dancing in the Dark as well - By the one and only Bruce Springsteen :-* :-* :-*. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxVu41Vsthg (it's the acoustic version of No Surrender  (one of my fave Brucie Baby songs esp the acoustic version) and his intro is very apt as well talking about the meaning of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=129kuDCQtHs - Dancing in the Dark

The Purple One i.e. PRINCE has a few apt songs as well

"1999" (2012 doesn't have the same ring to it) but very apt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjivDeA7Qu0

"Lets go Crazy" very apt lyrics as well
Dearly beloved
We are gathered here today
2 get through this thing called life

Electric word life
It means forever and that's a mighty long time
But I'm here 2 tell u
There's something else
The afterworld

A world of never ending happiness
U can always see the sun, day or night

So when u call up that shrink in Beverly Hills
U know the one - Dr Everything'll Be Alright
Instead of asking him how much of your time is left
Ask him how much of your mind, baby

'Cuz in this life
Things are much harder than in the afterworld
In this life
You're on your own

And if de-elevator tries 2 bring u down
Go crazy - punch a higher floor

If u don't like the world you're living in
Take a look around u
At least u got friends

U see I called my old lady
4 a friendly word
She picked up the phone
Dropped it on the floor
(Sex, sex) is all I heard

Are we gonna let de-elevator
Bring us down
Oh, no Let's Go!

Let's go crazy
Let's get nuts
Let's look 4 the purple banana
'Til they put us in the truck, let's go!

We're all excited
But we don't know why
Maybe it's cuz
We're all gonna die

And when we do (When we do)
What's it all 4 (What's it all 4)
U better live now
Before the grim reaper come knocking on your door

Tell me, are we gonna let de-elevator bring us down
Oh, no let's go!

Let's go crazy
Let's get nuts
Look 4 the purple banana
'Til they put us in the truck, let's go!

C'mon baby
Let's get nuts
Yeah
Crazy

Let's go crazy

Are we gonna let de-elevator bring us down
Oh, no let's go!
Go crazy

I said let's go crazy (Go crazy)
Let's go, let's go
Go
Let's go

Dr. Everything'll be alright
Will make everything go wrong
Pills and thrills and dafodills will kill
Hang tough children

He's coming
He's coming
Coming

Take me away!

(is the truck "look for the purple banana, 'till they put us in the truck. Let's Go" trucks to the FEMA camps??

"Money Don't Matter 2 Night" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpshOQK_TYs

and i found the lyrics to Whitesnake's "Judgement Day" quite telling as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yh1735Ymtn0

"The night is gone,
The time has come
To find a new day has begun,
An' it promises to stay
To soothe the pain of wasted years
An' kiss away the bitter tears
A love to light the way

And from the darkness
Comes a smile,
That reaches out for many miles,
Touching everyone.
No more shadows of the past,
Your spirit free to fly at last,
Shining in the sun

Like the rolling thunder,
I feel the power of love,
It's a gift from heaven
And the Lord above

We walk toward desire,
Hand and hand
Through fields of fire
With only love to light the way
On the road to Judgement Day

Take it easy, take it slow,
I'll take you anywhere you wanna go,
Places never seen before
'Cause I love you, an' I need you,
I'll do my best to please you,
My love can open any door

When you hear the thunder
In your darkest night,
I'll be there to hold you
When the lightning strikes

So don't you worry,
You can ease your mind
'Cause we'll be dancing
At the end of time

Who loves you, who needs you,
Who'll do his best to please you,
I love you, I need you
I'll get down on my knees

We walk toward desire,
Hand and hand
Through fields of fire
With only love to light the way
On the road to Judgement Day

So don't you worry, baby
On the road to Judgement Day
Who loves you, who needs you
On the road to Judgement Day

So I love you, and I need you
My love can open any door
My love can open any door..."

and finally Meatloaf's "Out of the Frying Pan (and in to the Fire)" - let's hope not!!! :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLheWEadUXM

DISCLAIMER/INFO BELOW
Santee is an alias for Robby Bee, best known as half of the duo Red Nativity , who released a pair of well-received holiday albums for Sound of America Records. LEGACY is stylistically similar to the music of Brule; the sound is contemporary with synthesizer and keyboard melodies intermixed with vocal chants, flute and rhythm. A difference between Santee and Brule is that these soundscapes are (for the most part) much more mellow, with a light pop flair. For the vocals, Bee employs a variety of traditional Native American singers, including Jack Anquoe (Kiowa), Earl Bullhead (Lakota) and Cornel Pewewary (Comanche) to create an earthy, timeless ambiance. Santee is the producer of award-winning album One Nation by Brulé and winner of the Indie Award for his work on the music video for Robby Bees Were the Boyz. Produced by Robby Bee of Red Nativity.

Nibiru - Elenin - When a vision in a dream, becomes a Song!

strange curiosities - 12 years ago, back in 1999, a Brazilian composer named Nando Reis made ??this song especially for the singer Cassia Eller, and the letter was not tied to the facts at the time. Cassia Eller died aged 39 in 2001. The words of that song is a striking thing, as if at the time, had been a alert, aimed particularly at this time we are experiencing.

Carmina Burana ~ O Fortuna | Carl Orff ~ André Rieu. O Fortuna" is a medieval Latin Goliardic poem written early in the thirteenth century, part of the collection known as the Carmina Burana. It is a complaint about fate, and Fortuna, a goddess in Roman mythology and personification of luck. It has been in loads of movies - the one i remember it from is Oliver Stone's  film about Jimbo and The Doors

O Fortune,
like the moon
you are changeable,
always waxing
or waning;
hateful life
first oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it;
poverty
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate – monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
stand malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through trickery,
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate, in health
and in virtue,
is against me,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating string;
since Fate
strikes down the strong man,
everyone weep with me![3]

Wow! Mel, thanks for posting the words.
That piece of music is a long time favorite of mine. My older bro had  the old lp record for it and played it to me about 1961. Carl Orff.
Somewhere on the list I had posted it - maybe last year,  :)

Wow! The old guy must be visiting some of the same websites. Certainly not like his earlier material.
Love his old voice and crooner style now too.
I remember him from hit tunes in like, 1958.

Children of the Revolution lyrics by T Rex (Marc Bolan & others) (well the chorus anyway) are quite apt re 2012
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xgcxd9wtXUE
"YeahWell you can bump and grind
It is good for your mind
Well you can twist and shout let it all hang out
But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No you won't fool the children of the revolution, no no no

Well you can tear a plane in the falling rain
I drive a rolls royce 'cos it's good for my voice
But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No you won't fool the children of the revolution, no no no - yeah!

But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No you won't fool the children of the revolution
No you won't fool the children of the revolution
No you won't fool the children of the revolution
No way, yeah, wow!

Posting the lyrics, as I had a little trouble hearing them:

Quote
Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well with me
And far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can't see
And this mountain that's in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well
It is well
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves…

My Notes: the environment and the acoustics, Ah-hhh.
"Chor und Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks" translates to: Bavarian Radio chorus. Also, the conductor is listed here as Leonard Bernstein, but IMHO it is likely Lorin Maazel, who was associated with the Bavarian Radio chorus.
