Shelters of adobe block.

(1/1)

tbrownrigg:
In Arizona we have some of the oldest adobe buildings in the world, in Casa Grand AZ. It is cheap but labor intensive. I'm currently building shelters for the goat herd with it. Instead of straw we use tumble weeds and for reinforcement barbed wire in the center of the wall.Which are 16" thick and 8' tall and 1800 sq ft. The material is just about indestructable, and weather resistant. It also has a good insulation quality, and fire proof. Low tempertures are a real issue with newborn goats, and Arizona can get cold.
