La Palma Tsunami – For the US East Coast It’s Getting Real
Today was the 26th day since the volcano began erupting on the Island of La Palma, and the volcano is far from tapering off. Rather, things seem to be taking a turn for the worse and a partial evacuation is already underway as you will see in the videos below.
In each of my weekly Planet X Conference zoom meetings, I discuss the consequences of a La Palma tsunami for America’s East Coast and offer tips and insights on what can be done to survive such a disaster.
Also, for those interested, in 2007, Christopher P. Lock PhD, FSAI, FABI of the Osaka University of Foreign Studies, published a very academic look at the coming La Palma tsunami.

Hello, I’m a Bushcraft Bear and share the latest information about the current volcanic eruption on the island of la palma in my videos.
One concern he has repeated a few times is the earthquakes. Specifically, the depth, and he is right. When they start getting shallow, that’s a very bad sign. Also, the evacuations he discusses in the video above, are likewise featured in the following Global News report.

La Palma volcano: Hundreds more evacuated as lava advances on islandAbout 300 more people fled their homes Thursday as lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma, Spain continued to advance towards more communities on the island.
Emergency crews gave those living between the towns of Tazacorte and La Laguna only a few hours to collect their belongings and pets and leave the area.
The volcano has been erupting since Sept. 19, and caused a magnitude 4.5 earthquake, the strongest of the 100 quakes that have hit the eruption zone over the past 24 hours. More than 6,700 people have been evacuated and nearly 1,200 buildings have been destroyed.
One of the most powerful aspects of these ongoing eruptions is the magma flows as depicted in this video uploaded by a tourist channel.
