Recurring Crop Circle Pictograms
Could Be the Keys to a Dialogue
YOWUSA.COM, 09-August-03 Marshall Masters
In most every case, crop circle formations strike us
inexplicable oddities. Sometimes they are elegant and complex, and other times, they appear as plain as the simple cake donuts we enjoy in the mornings. However, thing change
when the same simple pictogram begins showing up time-and-again, and then becomes part of more sophisticated formation. Especially when that pictogram evolves in two stages, as did the
formation that appeared at West Overton, near East Kennett, Wiltshire, England. The first part of this formation reportedly appeared on 31-July-2003, and the second part followed on 07-August-2003.
A Quick Review
In my last crop circle article, Are Extraterrestrials at Odds With Crop Circle Messages?(last updated on 03-July-2003), I presented a detailed analysis
of the alien holding the disc pictogram of the 2002 Crabwood formation. I also stated the belief that we may be fortunate enough to see a continuation
of this message in another formation that could appear sometime within this month.
Since then, I’ve been watching the mail list announcements from the
Crop Circle Connector web site like a hawk and last Friday, I hit upon something
that clicked! At the very most, a pictogram like that could be the key to impending dialogue and at the very least, another mysterious piece of an ever-evolving puzzle.
By the way, folks,
Mark Fussell & Stuart Dike who run that site really need your financial support so visit and subscribe to the
Crop Circle Connector site today if you have not done so already.
While there may or may not be a connection to what I’ve previously reported on this web site and on Coast To Coast, I’m going to offer more details on something I mentioned during my 03-August-2003 interview on the Coast To Coast radio show with host Barbara Simpson.
The alien depicted in this pictogram does not have the large, black, featureless almond shaped eyes of the typical Grays we see in popular literature. This alien face has smaller and more proportionate eyes
. However, what dawned on me was this eye also features as sclera, iris and pupil – just like ours!
I want to point out to my readers that I used an analysis of crop circle formations created and distributed freely by Maurice Osborn in a home video
he produced. His work filled in the gaps for me, and allowed me to climb up upon his shoulders a bit, so that I could connect the rest of the dots.

Dear Mr. Masters,
I have bad news to report. Someone entered my home and destroyed my master copy of the video, "Alien Messages.” I came home to find that the tape was tied in a
knot and that it had not jammed in the video machine. I have no other explanation. In any case, I am no longer able to send out copies of the video as I have
before. I have a backed up copy, but the copies from it has very poor quality. Could I trouble you to let people know about this in your review of the tape on
your web site? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Sincerely, Maurice
As they say in Texas, “I’ve been to a few county fairs, and even once made it all the way to the county seat,” and I feel this reeks of an intentional move
against Osborn (who hasn’t been in this game long enough to understand the intrinsic value of a remote site backup.)
Therefore, I suggested a work-around to him. He could use his backup tape for an MPEG conversion, which he could then distribute on CD_R.
Maurice was able to make the conversion and he is now sending out copies of his program again. If you want a copy, send him an E-mail at
me_osborn@yahoo.com.
In a special note to Maurice, I’d like to offer this keen bit of pseudo-Latin advice, “Illegitimi Non Carborundum” Don't let the bastards grind you down!
That being said, let’s look at what could be a very exciting piece of news.
A Possible Key
At face value, this simplistic looking pictograph
with four solid circles connected by simple lines could be the work of hoaxers wishing to befuddle the gullible. However, this simple glyph has appeared in four different formations since 22-July
-2003! Also, it appeared twice in one day – in two different fields!
Prior to 31-July-2003, this glyph appeared by itself. However, on 31-July-2003 appeared in a formation at West Overton, near East Kennett, Wiltshire, England.
Interestingly enough, this glyph also appeared with another recurring glyph that first appeared on 22-June-2003 in West Overton, near Avebury, Wilshire, as shown in the table below.
22-JUN-03: West Overton (2), near Avebury, Wiltshire
22-JUL-03: Hill Barn, near West Overton, Wiltshire
22-JUL-03: Lurkeley Hill, near West Overton, Wiltshire
23-JUL-03: West Woods, near West Overton, Wiltshire
31-JUL-03: West Overton, near East Kennett, Wiltshire
At this point, the
31-JUL-03: West Overton, near East Kennett, Wiltshire
formation is interesting enough given that it boasts to recently recurring glyphs, but then, this only the beginning.
Before describing this formation, I noted that someone might discount this simple recurring glyph (that has appeared 4 times, including this formation)
as the work of hoaxers. If so, perhaps the following onsite report by Peter Sorensen may serve to evaporate the notion:
From the air, this ring aligns with two other, very
different, formations. “Big deal,” I thought -- until I went into the formation and discovered that the others are up over the brow of the hill and cannot be
seen from there. The odds against accidental alignment in a large field would be slim indeed!
Further to this, there are no signs of ingress or egress to any of the pictograms in this formation.
It now becomes likely that the 2 recurring pictograms of the 3-pictogram
31-JUL-03: West Overton, near East Kennett, Wiltshire formation serve a
purpose. That leaves the third, key-shaped pictograph in the formation as being the only unique part of this puzzle.
We often received emails from people complaining about the mockery and abuse they receive from family, friends and co-workers when discussing this topic.
Our view is that this topic should never be introduced to others, until they demonstrate a geniune interest.
Nonetheless, those with a genuine interest in the topic will feel a natural urge to share their concerns about a possible threat to themselves and those close to them. Consequently, the most common questions they ask are, "where is Planet X, and what is the most likely worst case scenario?" GO
The Big Six Man-Made Catastrophic Scenarios for 2012 and Beyond — Survival Author Matthew Stein and Jacco van der Worp MSc
As moviegoers flock to see Sony's new 2012 film, critics, debunkers and cynics are spewing forth a flood of poison pen pronouncements.
Taken altogether, it is a bizarre twist on the Biblical story of Noah and the Flood — and with strikingly similar themes.
For those new to the topic of 2012, the film is great entertainment, but it also drives home an ancient failing of humanity. That the common folk are often the last to know, whether by their own choices or those made for them by wealthy and powerful elites. Ergo, many will never ask, "where will I be in 2012?" They'll just have enough time to ask, "My God, what's happening?" GO
